Nutrition Kept Simple

The Building Blocks of Functional Nutrition

Our products stay true to a simple philosophy:

“The human body is a marvelously designed living organism with the ability to grow, regulate, defend and repair itself when given natural premium, full-spectrum nutrition.”

In order to Keep It Simple we want to introduce you to the basic Four Nutritional Building Blocks of Health.

Nourish, Energize, Protect, Renew

These four building blocks support the cellular foundation of your life. Strong cellular foundations support our experiences of energy, vitality, radiant health and well-being.

So, let’s take a closer look at each of the Four Building Blocks starting with Building Block one which we use to:

NOURISH with Superfood Nutrition
A Superfood is a whole food which acts as a powerhouse of concentrated nutrients, offering a lot of micronutrients for comparatively few calories.

Micronutrients are substances that are essential in minute amounts for the proper growth and metabolism of a living organism. These nutrients include vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, amino acids, Essential Fatty Acids (EFA’s), antioxidants and phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are pigments like chlorophyll which gives plants their green color and phycocyanin which gives our blue green algae its blue color when you mix the powder in water.

Superfoods provide the elements our body needs in order to grow communicate on a cellular level and regenerate. The body can compensate—for a while—with a lack of micronutrients. However over time, these compensations have a domino effect on our health, and eventually it can come tumbling down; symptom by symptom, our body will let us know—it needs to be fed micronutrients.

An important fact about micronutrients is that they will help the body feel more energy, experience more mental clarity, sleep better and have less mood swings.

Building Block Two
Energize with Digestive Nutrition
Digestive Nutrients help your body to correctly break down foods into useable elements. This means that the micronutrients inside the food are more effectively absorbed and assimilated into your blood...and from there to become the fuel for all the cells in our body.  Digestive nutrients include digestive enzymes and the friendly bacteria called “probiotics”.

Digestive Enzymes are important for proper digestion. These molecules which help to break down proteins, fats and carbohydrates into usable pieces. Foods which are cooked or preserved, processed or packaged, are very difficult for our body to break down completely. Digestive Enzymes lighten the burden of the digestive process.

By breaking down food into molecules which are able to be easily absorbed into the blood stream, enzymes ensure that our food can be safely utilized. It is not only a matter of what we eat—it is a matter of how well we can use what we eat! Undigested Food which cannot be broken down sufficiently can accumulate and eventually weaken our digestive system and our whole body. Over time, poor digestion can lead to long term health issues including many different symptoms and conditions.

Without the friendly bacteria (probiotics) to protect our digestive environment, and digestive enzymes to help complete the process of digestion, we cannot get what we need from the food we eat—no matter how well prepared it may be or how good the quality is.

An important fact to remember is foods which provide these two types of digestive nutrients are hard to find in many industrialized countries which is one big reason for so many people suffering so many digestive disorders.  We need BOTH Food Enzymes and Probiotics!

Probiotics are needed for the normal functioning of the entire digestive system:

    • Probiotics assist in the digestion, absorption and assimilation of the nutrients in our food to our blood and from there to every cell in our body
    • Probiotics help inhibit the growth of bad bacteria in the gut and other disease causing microorganisms and help in the required elimination of waste
    • Probiotics can maintain proper ph balances, produce their own powerful antibiotics, help maintain healthy cholesterol levels, and produce several important B-Vitamins
    • Probiotics nourish and protect specialized glands in the gut called Peyer’s Patches which are responsible for up to 80% of the antibody producing cells that make up our immune system!
    • Probiotics help prevent the build up of toxins which can lead to all kinds of health problems and insure a quiet, peaceful, happy belly!

    Building Block Three
    Protect
    with Antioxidant Nutrition

An antioxidant is a nutrient which is able to safely neutralize a free radical.

Free Radicals are groups of atoms that have at least one unpaired electron which makes them unstable and highly reactive which can damage cells and are believed to accelerate the progression of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and age related diseases.

Our immune system is set up to search for, recognize and eliminate free radicals. A secondary purpose is to look for cells which free radicals have irreversibly damaged and remove them as well.

An important fact to remember is that because free radicals are a result of normal metabolic processes we must be able to contain their destructive effects efficiently and quickly or suffer long term health problems.  This is the job of antioxidant nutrients.

Renew and Rejuvenate with Specialized Nutrition

Our specialized and targeted nutritionals are the “next level” in using micronutrition to enhance health. We have products that specifically and powerfully support immune function.  We also have our bone health product and, a stem cell enhancer.

Your body is created with an inborn ability to repair and replace worn out or damaged cells and tissues.  Our stem cell enhancer directly supports this repair and rejuvenation system with target micronutrition. This product has been scientifically demonstrated to enhance adult stem cell production and stem cell health.
